i would get a schooling fish like neon or cardinal tetra. Maybe some cory cats. The reason for this is they dont get very big and they wont mind the small space while also being some of the most beautiful fish you could buy.

I vote for one Goldfish, maybe! Or two baby Angelfish. Those are very pretty. Perhaps a school of small fish, or some Cory Catfish. Good luck!

    Hi HSG,

First, you say that you cleaned your tank yesterday. Has it been cycled? Just thought I’d bring it up.

Anyway, to answer your question, I have a ten gallon as well. My stock includes the following:

    neon tetras (up to 5-6)
    3 cory cats
    3 platys (disney rocks!)
    3 male guppies
    2 java fern
1 super crazy hortwort on sterioids or something
    2 decor (a hut and a barrel)
    1 centerpiece driftwood
1 set of golden ribbon plants

of course, the heater, airpump and a 20g filter.

    Congratulations and Good Luck!! =)
